1. Why are you exhibiting at Bar & Restaurant Expo?

We have been part of Bar & Restaurant Expo from back in the day when it was called Nightclub & Bar convention. Over the years, Questex has done a remarkable job tweaking and improving the expo’s content and its image. After so many years, we feel like we are a part of the Bar & Restaurant Expo family. We love the variety of attendees that visit the expo. I’m honored I recently joined the Advisory Board for Bar & Restaurant Expo, so I’m very excited about that.

2. What do you hope to gain from the Expo?

It’s a great way to showcase our new innovations to the attendees. It is a great way to connect with those I call regulars and meet new attendees to share our priorities for the year. This year, I will moderate a panel of experts on Mastering Memorable Beverage Rituals. This session will provide some great insights how to elevate the consumer experience.

3. What products/services will you be showing at the Expo?

We will focus on showcasing the Dos Equis serving ritual, Naked vs. Dressed, and our newest high-end light beer Heineken Silver.

4. What challenges do you see operators facing in 2025, and how can your product/service help them overcome these obstacles?

Consumers are consuming less coupled with less frequent visits to bar/tavern/restaurants.  Actively look for ways to educate retailers to further improve consumer experiences would be beneficial to help increase foot traffic.

5. What trends are you seeing in the bar and restaurant industry?

Many leaders say AI will be “transformational” for the hospitality sector and a vast majority are in favor of adoption, however, education and skills gaps are key.

76% of consumers plan to go out and eat while 48% of consumers plan to go out for a drink (CGA 01/30/25).
