It’s time to rethink refreshments for your patrons. Soda, ice tea and coffee are a good start, but in the bar and nightclub business specialty non-alcohol cocktails are an important part of any beverage program.
It’s essential that all customers are accommodated and the reality of the industry is that not everyone drinks alcohol; however, these customers still want to enjoy the sweet pleasures of a tasty mocktail.
Here is a list of non-alcohol cocktails to give your beverage menu a boost while accommodating all the non-alcohol consuming customers and designated drivers out there a few more options during a night out on the town.
The Virgo 4 Fresh Raspberries
Add your fresh raspberries, limes, simple syrup and mint to a shaker and muddle lightly. Add your ice and shake viciously then add your soda. By adding your soda last it allows the drink to stay carbonated when shaken. Garnish with another sprig of mint and extra lime wedge. |

Virgin Cucumber Mojito 1 individual packet Mojito flavored dry beverage mix Dissolve beverage mix into cold water in a pitcher, add cucumber slices, and ice cubes. |

Sealed with a Kiss 1 1/2 oz. of chocolate syrup or melted chocolate Add all your ingredients to a shaker and shake well. Line the martini glass with melted chocolate using a swing pattern so that the chocolate crosses throughout the inside of the glass. Strain into the martini glass and garnish with a 1 Hershey's Kiss. Use the other to shave on top of your mock tail. You can add a dash of whip cream on the top if desired. |

Luscious Slush Punch 2 ½ cups white sugar Bring the sugar, water, and strawberry flavored gelatin to a boil in a large saucepan; boil for 3 minutes. Stir in the pineapple juice, lemon juice, and orange juice. Divide mixture into 2 separate containers and freeze. Combine the contents of 1 container with 1 bottle of the lemon-lime flavored carbonated beverage in a punch bowl; stir until slushy. Repeat with remaining portions as needed. |

Triple Cherry Shirley Temple with Key Lime 12 oz. Hanson’s Natural Cane Soda – Key Lime Twist Just before adding the ingredients to the mason jars, add about 2 tablespoons of granulated sugar to a shallow bowl, turn the jars upside down, and twist the rim of the jars in the sugar. Cut the limes into quarters. Add about 6 maraschino cherries in each Mason jar. Fill about three quarters full with ice cubes. Slide the wedges of lime in between the ice cubes and the inside of the glass jar so that it looks colorful from the outside of the glass. Add about 3 more maraschino cherries wherever there is room in between the ice cubes. Add the key lime twist soda leaving about 2 inches of space at the top of the jar. Next add 2 teaspoons of liquid from the jar of maraschino cherries to each Mason jar. Add the grenadine syrup and stir. Add more ice until it reaches the top of the jar. Top with a couple more cherries and lime wedges. |
