On July 4, 1776, the Founding Fathers signed the Declaration of Independence, declaring the original thirteen states separation from Great Britain. As Americans we should take time to appreciate and celebrate the freedom gained on this monuments day with a flavorful patriotic cocktail. Here we have put together some of our favorite 4th of July themed cocktails to help you lure patrons into your bar this Independence Day and all weekend long.

Declaration Daiquiri
1 1/2 oz. Bacardi Superior
In a mixing glass, muddle ½ the berries. Add all additional ingredients, (excluding ½ non muddled berries), into the mixing glass on top of muddled berries. Add ice and shake. Using a tall glass, add non-muddled berries in bottom of the glass and add ice halfway. Add additional berries on top. Strain liquid into tall glass. |

1 1/4 oz. ginger vodka Combine all ingredients into a shaker with ice. Shake vigorously and pour into serving glass. |

3/4 oz. Woodford Reserve Bourbon Add all ingredients into a mixing glass. Add ice, shake and strain into a tall glass with fresh ice. Garnish with fresh berries and an orange slice. |

1 1/2 oz. SKYY Vodka Muddle lemon peels, lemon juice, and simple syrup. Add the vodka and ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice cubes. Garnish with a twist of lemon. |

3/4 part Dekuyper Peachtree Schnapps Liqueur 1 1/2 parts Organic Apple Juice 1/2part Lemon Juice 3 Basil Leaves In a mixing glass, combine all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a tall glass over ice. Garnish with cherry and peach slice. |
