Cool Off With Some Summer Cocktails

Happy First Day of Summer! Today is the longest day of the year in the US and the official start to the summer season. Therefore, we’ve decided to share some of our favorite summer cocktails to cool off after being out in the hot summer sun!

The Dorstone

  • 1 oz. Greenhook Beach Plum Gin 
  • 1 oz. Greenhook Gin 
  • ½ oz. Dolin Blanc Vermouth 
  • ½ oz. Bonal Gentiane Quina 
  • Angostura Bitters

Add Beach Plum Gin, gin, Dolin Blanc, Bonal, and bitters to mixing glass. Add ice. Stir. Strain into coup or cocktail glass. Garnish with burnt orange peel.

Pomchi Smash Pomchi Smash

  • 1½ oz. Ron Abuelo Añejo 
  • 2 oz. cranberry juice 
  • 1 oz. lemon juice 
  • ½ oz. simple syrup 
  • 10 fresh raspberries 
  • 5 mint leaves 
  • Dash Angostura Bitters 
  • Ginger Ale

Muddle raspberry with the mint. Add the rest of the ingredients. Shake hard and strain into a highball glass and top with ginger ale. Garnish with raspberry and mint.

Watermelon Passion Spritzer

  • 1 ½ parts Pucker Watermelon Wow Vodka 
  • 1 ½ parts Passion Fruit Juice
  • 2 1-inch Chunks of Watermelon 
  • Splash Lemon Sour 
  • Watermelon Ball

Muddle watermelon chunks in a shaker, add ice and remaining ingredients. Shake and strain over fresh ice in a highball glass. Garnish with passion fruit pulp and watermelon ball or chunk.

'The Deep End' Sangria

  • 4 oz. Little Black Dress Moscato 
  • ¾ oz. Perfect Puree Blueberry Puree 
  • ½ oz. Finest Call White Sangria 
  • 1 oz. orange juice 
  • 4 blueberries

Combine all the ingredients (including the berries) in a cocktail shaker. Top with ice and shake vigorously.  Pour into a wine glass and serve.

Ciroc Pomegranate Lemonade

  • 1½ oz. Ciroc Red Berry 
  • 1 oz. Lemonade 
  • ½ oz. Pomegranate Juice 
  • ½ oz. Limoncello
  • ½ oz. Simple Syrup

In a mixing tin, add all ingredients and shake with ice. Strain into a chilled coup glass and garnish with a lemon twist.
