Named “Spitball,” a nod to the controversial, threatening and ultimately outlawed baseball pitch of the early days of the game, the whiskey packs a powerful punch of cinnamon heat and finishes with undertones of coffee, chocolate and caramel.
At 70 proof, Whiskey connoisseurs will enjoy this spirit by sipping it straight, on the rocks or added to beer or even a coffee drink. Cooperstown Distillery’s mixologist created a variety of innovative craft cocktails, perfect for making at home, including the Cinnamon Crunch made with spitball and Rum Chata (tastes like Cap’n Crunch Cinnamon cereal); the Spittin’ Mule, a spicy spin on a classic Moscow Mule, made with Spitball Whiskey, Glimmerglass Vodka, Ithaca Ginger beer and fresh squeezed lime juice and Angry Balls cider cocktail, made with a pint of Angry Orchard Crisp Cider, combined with a shot of Spitball Whiskey and a dash of Fee Brothers Cranberry Bitters.
