Low-Cal Cocktails

It’s almost summer, which means bathing suit season is just around the corner for all of us — including our guests. But guests don’t have to give up on sipping a delicious cocktail to save a few calories. Offer your waistline-conscious guests these cocktail options that are low in calories but high in taste. Then watch them slim down as your profits fatten up.

Pomegranate Collins

Calorie Count: 100

1 part Bombay Sapphire gin
¾ part fresh lemon juice
½ part agave nectar
20 pomegranate seeds
Diet club soda, to top

Lightly muddle fruit and nectar. Shake all ingredients, except club soda, and pour into ice-filled Highball glass. Top with club soda. Garnish with three seeds and a lemon wedge.


Blackberi Mint CobblerBlakberi Mint Cobbler

1 ½ ounces Stoli Blakberi
2 ounces soda water
½ ounces fresh lemon juice
¼ ounce simple syrup
1 orange wheel
6 mint leaves
3 blackberries
 
In a 10-ounce Collins glass, muddle orange wheel, mint, blackberries and lemon juice. Add ice and remaining ingredients. Stir to mix and garnish with fresh blackberry skewer and mint sprig.


Haamoni TartThe Haamonii Tart

Calorie Count: Approx. 100

3 ounces Haamonii Shochu
½ cup diced seedless tart fruit of choice (berries, plums, apples)
1/6 lemon
1 tsp. simple syrup
Cinnamon sugar

Muddle lemon and fruit. Add simple syrup and Haamonii Shochu. Shake with ice and pour over strainer into cinnamon-sugar-rimmed Martini glass.

1 ounce TY KU Liqueur
Splash sugar-free cranberry juice

Combine TY KU in a Martini glass and top with a splash of sugar-free cranberry juice.

2 ounces Voli Raspberry
½ ounce raspberry liqueur
Diet cranberry juice

Build ingredients over ice in a rocks glass and stir. Garnish with a fresh raspberry and lime twist.
