MA(C)nage A Trois Launches a Trio of Vodkas in Accordance with National Martini Day June 19, 2014

Menage a TroisMénage à Trois, the brand credited for creating the red blend wine craze, announced the launch of the Ménage à Trois vodka line, in accordance with National Martini Day – June 19, 2014.  The line includes three expressions of Vodka including Ménage à Trois Straight Vodka, Ménage à Trois Triple Berry Vodka and Ménage à Trois Triple Citrus Vodka.

“Ménage à Trois is the #1 selling red wine in America. Building upon the success of one of the Alcohol Beverage industry’s most successful brands, we believe Ménage à Trois Vodka is the next evolution in this exciting brand’s future,” commented Dave Derby, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Trinchero Family Estates.

Ménage à Trois wines were created in 1996 by two psychiatric professionals at their Folie à Deux Winery in St. Helena, CA.  The Ménage à Trois brand resonated with consumers and has continued to grow; increasing significantly after the brand was added to the Trinchero Family Estates portfolio in 2004.  The Ménage à Trois line of wines now includes 14 different varietals and blends.  “As the Vodka category has experienced steady growth over the past decade, Ménage à Trois Vodka is well positioned on the heels of the momentum created by the Ménage à Trois wine brand which is known for its approachable wine style and consistent quality,” added Derby.  “As a testament to the quality, Ménage à Trois Vodka has already received a 91 point rating - “Highly Recommended” and “Great Value” at the 2014 Ultimate Spirits Challenge.”

Like Ménage à Trois wines, which originated as a blend of three varietals, Ménage à Trois Vodkas are based on a “blend of three.” The Ménage à Trois Triple Berry Vodka is a blend of raspberry, pomegranate, and cranberry and the Ménage à Trois Triple Citrus Vodka is a blend of lemon, orange and lime. All three vodkas go through a proprietary triple filtration process, are six-times distilled and ideal to enjoy on their own or for mixing in Ménage à Trois signature cocktails such as the Dirty Martini and the Berry Rendezvous.
