Raise a glass with a classic gin cocktail in celebration of World Gin Day today Saturday, June 14th! World Gin Day is now in its 6th year and cocktail aficionados around the globe have united in their enthusiasm for this light-bodied, smooth spirit infused with aromatic natural botanicals.

Gin has been at the forefront of the liquor industry for centuries since its inception centuries ago in Holland. Over the years, this spirit has proved to be a notably versatile yet complex cocktail ingredient that adds a dynamic and delicious element to the cocktail recipe standbys.

Peppered Peach

Sapphire Peppered Peach Tea Collins

1 ½ oz. Bombay Sapphire Gin

¾ oz. Fresh Lemon Juice

½ oz. Simple Syrup

1 ½ oz. Peach Iced Tea

Pinch of Black Pepper

Club Soda

Build with ice in a Collins glass. Top with Club Soda.

Garnish: peach slide and lemon twist

Gin & Tonic

Gin & Tonic Reimagined

1 ½ oz Bombay Sapphire East Gin

3 oz Fevertree tonic

Lime wedge OR different garnish (lemongrass, juniper, coriander, cassia bark, etc)

Method: Press lemongrass stem and lime wedge into base of glass. Fill with ice and build.

Glass: Old fashioned

Garnish: Lime wedge (can be subbed), lemongrass stem

   
Classic Gin Martini

BOMBAY SAPPHIRE CLASSIC MARTINI COCKTAIL

1 ½ parts Bombay Sapphire

A whisper of dry vermouth

Chill chosen Martini Glass

Fill the glass half of the shaker with Ice, coat the inside of the glass shaker with vermouth, discard the ice and vermouth and refill with ice, pour in Bombay Sapphire holding the base of the glass shaker – stir – NEVER – shake until ice cold -  pour into a martini glass.

Garnish with an olive or twist

Stir the ingredients over ice. Strain into a lowball glass with a large chunk of ice.

   
Sapphire East Snapper

SAPPHIRE East Snapper 

1 ½ parts BOMBAY SAPPHIRE East Gin

4 parts Tomato juice

¼ parts Lemon juice

¼ parts Soy sauce

Small palm of diced lemongrass

Pea of wasabi

Pinch of sea salt

Pinch of white pepper.

Build with ice in a highball. Garnish with lemongrass.
