2 Ounces of light rum
1 Ounce of lime juice, freshly squeezed
0.75 Ounces of simple syrup
1 Garnish: lime twist

Step One : Fill Shaker with ice.
Step Two: Add Rum, simple syrup, and lime juice (fresh squeezed) to shaker.
Step Three: Shake well for 15-20 seconds.
Step Four: Strain cocktail into highball or rocks glass.
Step Five: Twist lime peel and use as garnish.
