A gaming operation can be a losing situation for the casual or sophisticated gambler, but every day in July, Golden Gaming will make at least one person a lucky winner. At each of the 32 participating PT’s tavern locations and the three Sierra Gold locations in Nevada, one guest will win a Canon Powershot digital camera each day of the month.
To be entered, guests must enroll in the Golden Rewards program, which offers complimentary dollars that can be redeemed for dining and benefit packages like free slot play, exclusive concert access, special events and more. For every 10 points earned in a 24-hour period (beginning at 10 p.m. each night), a member gets one entry to win a camera. The daily winner will be posted online and at the participating taverns every night at 10 p.m.
The promotion aims to “loyalize” the more infrequent patrons and move them from the dining areas to the gaming areas. Plus, it will help boost involvement in the Golden Rewards program, explains Christopher Abraham, vice president of marketing for Golden Gaming Inc.
“We wanted to give our drinkers and diners an opportunity to win great prizes with only a little bit of gaming investment,” Abraham says.
This little bit of investment could go a long way — for both the prize-seeking patrons and the loyal-patron-seeking company.
