The 8th Annual American Beverage Licensees Convention will take place June 13-15 at the Marriott Louisville in downtown Louisville, Ky. The convention’s theme, “On the Trail to Success,” will be geared toward the group’s nearly 20,000 members, comprised of on-premise and off-premise retailers.
ABL is a U.S. trade association for retail beverage alcohol license holders. The organization works with other members of the three-tier system to defend the industry against increased taxation, federal mandates and unfit public policies.
The event will feature receptions, meet and greet sessions, banquets and other networking events, along with educational programming that will include keynote addresses from Mark Brown, president and CEO of Sazerac Company, and Bill Newlands, president of Beam Global; a bourbon master distiller panel; the ABL government affairs report; an update from DISCUS; and a social media presentation by Undercurrent. Additionally, attendees can enjoy an off-property visit to a Bourbon County distillery.
