Nightclub & Bar Convention and Trade Show made the Trade Show Executive Gold 100 List!
The senior executive staff of the 100 major exhibitions that make up the Trade Show Executive (TSE) Gold 100 will be saluted this Fall at the 7th annual TSE Gold 100 Awards & Summit October 22-24 at the five-star St. Regis Monarch Beach Resort in Dana Point.
The 2013 International CES will once again be honored as the largest annual show of the year with 1.9 million net square feet (nsf) of exhibit space. ICUEE, also known as the Demo Show, easily emerged as the largest construction show with nearly 1.2 million nsf. MAGIC Market Week August jumped the 1 million nsf fence and held on to the title as the leader in apparel shows. MAGIC’s February event was about 200,000 nsf smaller than the August edition but still staked out a claim as a “Top Ten Show of 2013.” The SHOT Show was fired up with new management and captured the title as the largest sporting goods show of the year with 628,675 nsf. HIMSS, with 495,415 nsf, edged out RSNA by some 60,000 nsf to become the largest medical show of 2013.
The Gold 100 roster includes several other familiar names as well as some newcomers that have bolstered their exhibit space well into six figures. Their accomplishments will be the focus of the awards dinner and summit, which brings together CEOs, group vice presidents, group show managers, and leading show organizers – not only from the Gold 100 shows, but also from the so-called “Winners Circle” which includes leaders of the Fastest 50 shows and top brass from numerous other show organizations and associations.
