It’s official: Mike Fuller has left N9NE Group, where he served as vice president. Fuller’s journey in the nightclub scene started with his early role as a DJ and then a promoter and lead him to an exec post at the N9NE Group, operator of hotspots Rain, Ghostbar, Moon and Playboy Club and restaurants N9NE Steakhouse and Nove Italiano at the Palms; he joined the company in 2006 as director of marketing. During his tenure, the venues tagged leading DJs including Paul Oakenfold, whose residency at Rain and his Perfecto Vegas show grabbed the industry’s attention. Stay tuned for what’s next for this impresario.
Wayne Crane is now assistant director of marketing for the Las Vegas Nightlife Group, overseeing marketing and special events for Blush Boutique Nightclub at Wynn, the soon-to-open Surrender Nightclub at Encore and sister venue Encore Beach Club. Crane formerly was director of marketing at Hawaiian Tropic Zone, which closed its doors in February after just more than two years on the Strip.
DJ ROS will take partiers on a worldwide tour with Passport, his new A/V concept launching at Asylum in Macon, Ga., on May 8. Developed with Integrated Visions, the concept attempts to take club-goers around the world via a 3-D-esque experience that combines cutting-edge video technologies with ROS’ style of hip-hop and rock mash-ups and electro remixes. Passport is not a staged production, however — it involves live remixing and visual tricks like green screens, making every performance unique and spontaneous. The concept is positioned to tour the larger venues, according to DJ ROS.
