Is disco making a return? That’s what Potential Entertainment hopes, after opening Disco Scottsdale last week. The Arizona nightclub, open three nights a week starting at 10 p.m., offers a custom interactive LED dance floor, state-of-the-art digital audio/visual systems, custom seating, dance poles, bottle service and VIP areas — and, of course, a giant disco ball. “More than just creating a new nightclub out of an under-utilized space, we have re-imagined, re-engineered and remixed the disco concept to create something you won’t find any other place in the country,” Disco General Manager John Nemeth told Scottsdale’s ABC 15. “We view it as a post-modern interpretation of disco; our goal is to bring back the ‘experience’ of the classic discotheque, with attention to every detail, phenomenal service and high energy entertainment with the latest technology and programming.”
Russian Standard Vodka launched a new nightclub and restaurant in Moscow, IMPERIA Lounge, named after the company’s ultra-luxury IMPERIA Vodka. The club, created by legendary Moscow promoters Diaghilev Project, features floor-to-ceiling screens that project graphics, videos and images throughout the night.
