Samuel Adams Noble Pils
Voters in the fifth annual Samuel Adams Beer Lover’s Choice contest, held last year, have chosen Samuel Adams Noble Pils as their favorite, and the beer is now being introduced by The Boston Beer Company. All five Noble hops are used in the brew; four are from Germany and the fifth from the Czech Republic. The hoppy pilsner brew is the spring seasonal beer now offered by Samuel Adams.

Deschutes Brewery’s Jubel 2010
Beginning in February, the Jubel 2010 Reserve Series from Deschutes Brewery is available. The 11 percent ABV “Super Jubel” was created when a burglar dropped a keg of Jubelale outside to freeze in the winter’s sub-zero temperatures; when it was discovered, more than half the liquid had frozen and the remaining beer was very cold and highly concentrated. It is available on tap and in bottles in the 14 states where Deschutes is sold.

Yuengling Bock Beer
After being reintroduced last year in celebration of its 180th anniversary, D.G. Yuengling & Son is bringing back Yuengling Bock Beer in kegs and bottles. The late-winter seasonal classic is deep amber in color and features a pleasing malt base with a refreshing hop aroma. It became available in mid-January and will be available until approximately April. The bottle label design is based on Yuengling Bock Beer artwork from 1941.
