Samuel Adams hopes to push the envelope with bigger, more intense craft brews. The Imperial Series offers a bolder version of some of the brand’s favorite traditional beer styles by boosting the ingredients and testing the limits of each traditional style. With more robust flavors and nearly twice the alcohol by volume of the average beer, each style in the Imperial Series is intended to be savored and appreciated like a fine wine. The new series of beers will be offered year-round and includes Samuel Adams Imperial White, Samuel Adams Imperial Stout and Samuel Adams Double Bock.

Rogue Jazz Guy Ale
Rogue Ales again offers its limited edition Jazz Guy Ale bottle for the Portland Jazz Festival — and beyond. The festival brought top national and international acts to venues throughout Portland during its 10-day run in February, and Jazz Guy Ale was available on draft and in custom 22-ounce bottles. It’s now available in New Orleans, San Francisco, Boston, Minneapolis, New York City, Philadelphia, Kansas City, Seattle and Chicago. Rogue Jazz Guy Ale is tawny in color with a coffee aroma, tight head and a delicate roasted malt accent.

Yuengling Bock
D.G. Yuengling & Son Inc. re-introduces its traditional seasonal Bock Beer in celebration of its 180th year and reaching the two-million-barrel production mark. The new brew is dark brown in color and will be offered only in half barrels. Operators wanting to present this special brew to their patrons should act fast and contact their distributors; availability began in late February, and Yuengling anticipates it to last only eight to 10 weeks from that time.
