Randy Steinbrenner

Randy Steinbrenner assumed the post of vice president, sales and marketing at Dallas-based Boston’s the Gourmet Pizza on Nov. 16. He’ll oversee marketing and beverage functions for the chain of more than 50 full-service casual restaurants. Formerly, Steinbrenner served as vice president of marketing for Romacorp Inc.


Diageo has appointed Peter McDonough, currently president of North America innovation, to the role of president, chief marketing & innovation officer, effective Jan. 1. Diageo will be combining the Marketing and Innovation teams to ensure the company is organized to deliver top-line growth. McDonough will report to Larry Schwartz, president, Diageo USA.

Harrah's Entertainment Inc. has filed an application to purchase the struggling Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas.


Kathleen Ciaramello, Coca-Cola

Kathleen Ciaramello has been appointed vice president, East Region Foodservice and On-Premise division, Coca-Cola North America. Ciaramello will be responsible for leading and maintaining the company’s partnerships with customers in 20 eastern states. Stefanie Miller, previously the company’s global account director for strategic alliances, will take on Ciaramello’s former role as vice president, strategic alliances.

 


Newman Wine & Spirits has named Howard Romm vice president of sales/national sales manager. Romm most recently served as the Arizona president for wholesaler Republic Beverage Company, a position he held for a decade.
