T.G.I. Friday’s named Suzanne Hanna senior vice president of operations. Hanna joins T.G.I. Friday’s after serving as vice president of southeast operations for the company. In her new role, she will be responsible for long-term organizational strategy and provide overall direction and operational leadership for T.G.I. Friday’s USA.
William Grant & Sons entered into a binding agreement to purchase C&C Group’s spirit and liqueur business, with the transaction to be completed by June 30. The purchase will further develop William Grant & Sons’ non-Scotch portfolio and commit to building a strong business in Ireland, maintaining operations at Irish sites like Clonmel, Co Tipperary and growing brands such as Tullamore Dew Irish Whiskey.
The Resort Collection of Panama City Beach in Florida announced three new hires to its food and beverage department. Heem K. Chee, vice president of food and beverage, will oversee all operations for banquets, bars and eateries. Philippe Olivier Robles, resort executive chef, will enhance food product; Ryan Jones, food and beverage director, will work alongside Brian McConnell, directing and organizing operations.
Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) CEO Chuck Hurley will retire on June 30. Kimberly Simpson Earle, former Chief Operating officer of Susan G. Komen for the Cure has been named as his replacement.
