Last week, Samuel Adams sent along a real holiday treat, a precious bottle of its limited-edition Infinium, a Champagnelike beer made in collaboration with Weihenstephan Brewery, of Germany. This stuff looks and tastes like Champagne and comes in corked bottle. It has a dry taste with lots of tiny bubbles. Priced right around $20, it’s a steal compared to genuine bubbly. This year’s version was dry-hopped with fresh Hallertau Mittelfrueh hops.
