The Valley of the Moon Cabernet Sauvignon comes from hillside vineyards with a thin, rocky and poor soil that has limited water-holding capacity. The fruit produced in this hillside region is intense with a rich texture, smooth polished tannins and balance. The Cabernet Sauvignon has cassis, violet and cigar box aromas. The black fruit and cedar flavors accent a hint of black pepper, which adds to its long, smooth finish.
