NCB Show Parties a Haze, Vanity, XS, TAO & More!

With the 2010 Nightclub & Bar Convention & Trade Show about six weeks away, it’s the perfect time to start announcing the huge party schedule that’s been put together. While the special event calendar includes offerings and special deals for NCB attendees to feel like Las Vegas locals every night of the show, we’re most excited about three premium events taking place at three of the biggest, hottest, most profitable and most expensive nightclubs ever created.

It all starts on Monday, March 8 when NCB teams up with the Light Group to host the 25th Anniversary party for Nightclub & Bar at the brand-new Haze Nightclub at CityCenter. While ‘The Show’ hosts amazing parties every year and has seen some pretty legendary events over the past 25 years, the Cocktails & Dreams Anniversary Party will raise the bar on our events for the next quarter-century. The 25,000-square-foot, split-level Haze Nightclub was created to challenge the perceptions and realities of club-goers, and in its first two weeks of operations, it has done just that, combining state-of-the-art technology with headlining DJ talent in a luxurious and lively setting that has to be seen to be believed. Already confirmed are 25th anniversary toasts and guest appearances from some major celebrities and a 90-minute hosted bar for all attendees who turn out to help us celebrate. It’s a tremendous opportunity to celebrate a monumental milestone inside one of the nation’s newest and hottest nightclubs. You do not want to miss out!

On Tuesday, March 9, we will make the move down the Strip to Wynn Las Vegas to honor the Top 100 Nightclubs in America with a blowout bash at one of the hottest nightclubs in the world, XS Nightclub. If you attended this party last year, you know that more than 4,000 convention-goers were introduced to the indoor/outdoor decadence of XS while the club was still very much just getting going. Fast forward a few months ahead and the XS team was breaking every attendance and revenue record on the Strip with club-goers stunned by the poolside opulence and energy of the club. When deciding which venue would best honor and serve as the gracious host to 99 other nightclubs from around the country and thousand of convention attendees, the answer was simple, XS it is! We are teaming up with Absolut Vodka to honor each and every nightclub on the Top 100 list and throw a party befitting those who host outstanding parties each and every week. Our friends at Absolut will honor all in attendance with a 90-minute hosted Absolut Vodka bar and some tasty cocktails from the newest flavor release from Absolut. We know you’ve been thinking about this party and this club since last year, so don’t delay — buy your tickets today!

Last but certainly not least, on Wednesday, March 10, a NCB Show institution returns for its 10th year on the special event calendar when TAO Nightclub hosts the DJ Spin-Off. One of the convention’s most popular annual events returns with an all-new entertainment lineup showcasing not only the best in turntable talent but also introducing dynamic new acts that are pushing the boundaries of music and nightclub entertainment. Headlining the DJ Spin-Off is the world-renowned institution known as DJ Kid Capri, quite possibly the most respected and groundbreaking global hip-hop DJ in the history of the game. He was the first DJ to appear on television, masterminded the concept of the mix tape and has produced beats for Snoop Dogg, Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige and Busta Rhymes, among others. He also served as the official DJ for both Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam and Sean Combs' Puff Daddy & The Family World Tour. While the rest of the industry goes toward computer mixing programs and digital playlists, Capri is still known to drag a box of records to the turntables with him. He is excited to be playing for the Nightclub & Bar audience and has promised one of the best Spin-Offs yet.

Also performing at TAO on Wednesday night will be the best underground act you probably haven’t heard of yet. The trio Keys n Krates has created a groundswell of buzz, being featured at New York City’s Hot 97 Who’s Next showcase, named to Urb Magazine’s 2009 Next 100 list and performing at the South by Southwest Music Festival (SXSW), not to mention playing alongside The Roots’ iconic Questlove. With world-champion spinster DJ Jr Flo on the turntables, the soulful Matisse on the keys and Tune on the drums, Keys n Krates provide a live remixing experience that has to be seen to believe! If you think we’re playing, click here to check out their live remix of Kanye West’s "Flashing Lights" and The Fugees’ "FuGeeLa".
