On Nov. 1, Woodford Reserve released the latest extension of its acclaimed Master’s Collection, “Seasoned Oak Finish.” It is the fourth in the series of limited edition bottlings and features bourbon finish-aged in unique barrels crafted with wood that has been seasoned longer than any previously used in the industry — about three to five years. Each bottle is individually hand-numbered and presented at 100.4 proof. Only 1,337 cases are available.

Purity Vodka
Purity Vodka launched in the U.S. last week in California, Georgia, New Jersey and New York; additional markets will be added in 2010. Blue Coast Vineyards debuted its Chardonnay and Merlot varietals in a 3L box form — the equivalent of four bottles. The interior of the box features a durable, recyclable, vacuum-sealed bag that prevents wine from oxidizing quickly and allows it to maintain its integrity for up to eight weeks after opening.
