New York, NY - New Wines of Greece has recently formed a North American Wine Bureau with offices in New York, Montreal and Toronto to manage a three year-campaign designed to increase awareness of Greek wines with consumers, members of the trade and media. This initiative is sponsored by the Greek National Inter-Professional Organization of Vine and Wine (EDOAO) and financed by the EU and Greece. The North American Wine Bureau of Greece will be managed by All About Greek Wine.
New Wines of Greece held its first events last week in Toronto and Montreal as part of their 2010 North American Roadshow, a series of Grand Tastings and seminars sponsored by the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board (HEPO) and financed by the EU and Greece. The Road Show continues this week in Chicago on Tuesday, May 18th and New York on Thursday, May 20th. Wines will be showcased from over 50 wineries representing all of the major wine producing regions of Greece. Many of Greece's top winemakers will be in attendance.

After the roadshow, the next scheduled events in the New Wines of Greece campaign will take place at the Food & Wine Magazine Classic in Aspen June 18-20th.
