Praise Your Staff on National Waiters and Waitresses Day

Waiter and WaitressesToday (May 21), National Waiters and Waitresses Day, is a day to recognize the value and importance of your servers. They represent your venue and are all the difference between a good or bad experience had by customers.

Recognize your top performers hard work, poise and timeliness by providing them with something a little extra – a gift card, a day off or even just a verbal recognition – to show that they are appreciated. While these perks don’t hurt, remember that your serving staff makes the majority of their money from the customers through the tips they receive. Therefore, make sure to let you customers know by posting it on social media or writing it on a large chalkboard / sing in the venue.
