Les Vins Georges Duboeuf 2008 Beaujolais Crus

Georges Duboeuf and his son and co-proprietor, Franck Duboeuf, presented a pre-release of their 2008 Beaujolais Crus, which is expected to hit the market in September. Each of the 10 Crus is named after the area where the grapes are grown: Brouilly, Chénas, Chiroubles, Côte-de-Brouilly, Fleurie, Juliénas, Morgon, Moulin-à-Vent, Régnié and Saint-Amour. The wines, made from 100-percent Gamay grapes, tend to be fuller, denser, more aromatic and complex than other Beaujolais wines.

Salina Glass Co., a Syracuse, N.Y.-based glass-decorating company, now offers 12-, 16.9- and 20-ounce water bottles that can be personalized with logos. The water bottles come with a sport cap or a flap cap, and the minimum order is four cases (96 bottles). Salina Glass also decorates wine and beer glasses and coffee cups.
