While beleaguered in Vegas, Opium Group had something to celebrate in Miami recently — the sixth anniversary of Mansion — and it did so in style. The 40,000-square-foot venue opened to rave reviews in February 2004, and it remains a fixture on the South Beach party scene, attracting A-list DJs, celebs and guests. Its anniversary bash lasted five nights, April 14 – 18, with headliners and celebs packing the house every night: Richie Rich launched his Tabloid Hero clothing line on Wednesday, rap legend Busta Rhymes took center stage on Thursday, Fabolous and Trey Songz gave a special performance on Friday, guest DJ Steve Aoki spun on Saturday and hip-hop artist Fat Joe, accompanied by DJ Affect, brought it all home on Sunday.
A fixture on the Nightclub & Bar Top 100 list, Mansion is among the elite handful of megaclubs with true staying power. Its success is likely due to its regal décor and multi-room design that allows for a variety of experiences under one roof, not to mention its ability to continually attract top talent. Six years, another jewel in the crown at Mansion. Congrats!
