Absinthe expert George Rowley, CEO and owner of La Fée, introduces NV Absinthe Verte, a premium absinthe available at a lower price point to make it a mainstream product. It is distilled with grand wormwood, anise, fennel and a special ingredient from La Fée. NV turns cloudy on the rocks or can be enjoyed in energy drinks or cocktails. Available in 750 ml bottles, NV is 38 percent alcohol by volume and 76 proof.

Tequila Corrido
Tequila Corrido, imported by True Blue Imports LLC, launched in San Francisco at the 2009 Indy Sprits Expo. The portfolio includes Corrido Cristalino (blanco), Corrido Reposado, Corrido Añejo and Corrido Extra Añejo. Corrido is produced from select blue agave grown in the volcanic soil of the highlands region of Jalisco, Mexico; all tequilas use a proprietary single-barrel technique, including reposado (aged six months), añejo (aged 18 months) and extra añejo (aged three years).

Harlem Shot
Nolet Spirits U.S.A. launched Harlem, a kruiden-based shot drink that is imported from Holland. Harlem began a national rollout in November. Harlem is a blend of fresh herbs and spices with a hint of mandarin, and is best served ice cold. The launch of Harlem will be supported by an extensive marketing campaign empowering consumers to “Call the Shots.” Harlem is 80 proof and available in 50 ml, 750 ml and 1 L bottles.

Paddy Irish Whiskey
Pernod Ricard USA will release a limited two-month release of Paddy Irish Whiskey, an extra smooth and mellow whiskey blend that will hit the market in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Paddy Irish Whiskey was first distilled in 1779 under the name of “Cork Distilleries Company Old Irish Whiskey.” It is distilled three times and then matured for up to seven years in dark, aromatic warehouses. It is available in 1 L bottles beginning this month.

Evan Williams Single Barrel 2000 Vintage
The 2000 vintage of the Evan Williams Single Barrel collection is available from Heaven Hill distilleries, complete with new packaging. As with the previous 14 vintages, each bottle of Evan Williams Single Barrel 2000 Vintage Bourbon is marked with the exact date it was placed in oak and bottled, in addition to the exact serial number of the single barrel from which it was drawn. The 86.6-proof bourbon is matured in open-rick warehouses.
