Chicago, June 9, 2009, Business Wire –Technomic and GuestMetrics (OTCPK:GESM) have created a strategic partnership to provide detailed market analysis on consumer foodservice expenditures. The partnership will allow Technomic to develop detailed analytics and reports using GuestMetrics’ aggregated point-of-sale (POS) data from over 2,500 restaurant, bar and other away from home locations in 10 markets nationally. Using GuestMetric’s data, Technomic will develop unique, first-of-its-kind analysis and reporting tools on beverage alcohol sales and food consumption away from home.
Both firms expressed enthusiasm over the opportunity to create products that will fill the need for detailed data on away from home consumption and to pool their expertise and resources in order to deliver the best and most comprehensive picture of sales within the foodservice channel.
