Ultimate Beverage Challenge Announces Two Public Tasting Events This Fall

With the completion of a highly successful trio of groundbreaking beverage alcohol competitions held this spring: Ultimate Spirits Challenge, Ultimate Cocktail Challenge and Ultimate Wine Challenge, Ultimate Beverage Challenge announced today two exciting consumer and media events this October in New York City. The fabulous Broadway Ballroom at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in the heart of Times Square will transformed into the must-be-there tasting events of this holiday season.

Ultimate Wine Affair, Monday, October 4 from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm, will feature hundreds of wines from world-class producers, many Chairman's Trophy winners and finalists from this year's Challenge. Ultimate Wine Affair will showcase an international array of wines, champagnes, sakes, ports and sherries for sampling by consumers and the media. Numerous educational seminars with top speakers will delve deeply into wine service, wine lore and will provide endless opportunities to taste and learn for legal-age adults.

Ultimate Cocktails & Spirits Blast, Friday, October 15 from 5:00 pm - 10:00 pm, will shake New York to its bedrock with the biggest, bawdiest spirits and mixed drink exposition ever held. Producers will pour their whiskeys, brandies, vodkas, tequilas, rums, gins and more for sampling by attendees. Some of the nation's foremost bartenders and mixologists will be mixing and shaking cocktails for consumers and media. Ultimate Cocktails & Spirits Blast will be the best place to learn how to make cocktails, how to appreciate single malt Scotch, and how to make your own flavored vodka through hot-ticket how-to seminars.

Said Pacult, "In the end, nothing beats tasting as a direct means of education and pleasure when it comes to wines, cocktails and spirits. Both UBC mega-events will take consumers on an entertaining, self-operated journey that will put them face-to-face with producers and world-class experts."

Said Talbot "Ultimate Wine Affair will break the mold of stuffy, connoisseur-slanted wine shows by offering timely seminars on practical wine appreciation for everyone, not just collectors. This is a wine show for anyone interested in wine, no matter their level of experience; no matter that their wine collection might be a few bottles in a rack on their kitchen counter-top. It's time to make wine fun again. That's the theme of Ultimate Wine Affair - FUN."

Said Woodley "Ultimate Cocktails & Spirits Blast is designed to bring the finest spirits and cocktails from Scotland, Mexico, France, Ireland, Kentucky and the rest of the world to Times Square. This promises to be an extraordinary evening of education, cocktail shaking, music and pleasure that's designed specifically for consumers who want to learn more about spirits and cocktail as well as for seasoned veterans. What I do know is that anyone who attends will come away wanting to know when the next one will be."

For the very first time in the Broadway Ballroom, exclusive semi-private lounges will be available to wine and spirits producers to provide maximum focus and impact for your brands; there are a limited number of tables available to showcase your products.
