Now, imagine this guilty pleasure in a vodka. Van Gogh is pleased to introduce the newest flavor in their super-premium portfolio, Van Gogh Dutch Caramel Vodka (SRP, $27/750ml). This is the first caramel flavored vodka to be crafted in a natural caramel color, increasing the appeal of this universally adored flavor. Like their chocolate, the Dutch have long been recognized for their ability to produce superior caramel, making this new flavor a natural line extension for the Dutch Van Gogh Vodka.
Although the original idea for Dutch Caramel Vodka was a result of interest from Van Gogh’s consumers, bartenders and distributor partners, during development it was soon realized that this new flavor was going to be an exciting addition to the portfolio with its authentic warm and opulent caramel aroma and taste. “Like our other Van Gogh Vodka flavors, the Dutch Caramel is bold and vibrant giving the entry level consumer all the way to the experienced mixologist the opportunity to make great tasting drinks without a lot of fuss,” explains Jonathon Bleiberg, President and C.O.O. of Van Gogh Imports. “We are eager to push the boundaries of traditional cocktail applications and believe this flavor will quickly become a common ingredient in mixed drinks and dessert recipes like our Double Espresso, Espresso and Dutch Chocolate.” Dutch caramel will be available early this summer in three sizes: liter, 750ml and 50ml.
