The Medford ceiling fan from Fanimation features a Forged Iron finish with reversible dark cherry/teak-finished wooden blades; it has a 52-inch blade sweep and a 14-degree blade pitch. The Medford earned an Energy Star rating, with an airflow of 5,501 cubic feet per minute and only using 67 watts (excluding lighting). Its airflow efficiency is 82 cubic feet per minute per watt. A variety of glass lighting fixtures are available, and the Medford offers a downrod with a diameter of 1 inch and a length of 6 inches.

Kold-Draft Meets Energy Standards

Effective the first of the year, all Kold-Draft ice machine models meet the California Energy Commission’s 2008 Building Energy Efficiency Standards, which were established to reduce the state’s energy consumption. Kold-Draft ice machines have been carefully developed to be more energy- and water-efficient than standard ice machines, the company says. To meet the standards, Kold-Draft took care to not reduce the quality of the finished product of denser, more solid ice for which Kold-Draft is known.
