Sure, it can be sad to wave goodbye to summer but Niche Import Co. has just the thing to turn frowns upside-down: MOZART Chocolate Cream Pumpkin Spice Liqueur. This delicious Austrian liqueur is made with chocolate, caramel, natural pumpkin juice, cinnamon, clove, vanilla and a touch of chili, resulting in notes of high quality chocolate, pumpkin and a touch of heat on the palate. This news almost makes us want to shove summer out the door now.

If you’ve wanted to add luxury single malt The Dalmore 25 to your collection but have thus far been unsuccessful, your luck may be about to change. The Dalmore has announced their intention to expand the distribution of The Dalmore 25, one of the single most desirable expressions within the distiller’s Principal Collection. Master Distiller Richard Paterson’s creation is matured in casks that once contained a grape that creates a sweeter style of sherry. This sought-after luxury whisky is characterized by exotic fruits, marzipan, vanilla pods, treacle toffee, fig cake and sweet balsamic on the nose; orange peel, chocolate truffles, liquorice, sweet damsons and sherry soaked raisins on the palate; and demerara sugar, maple syrup, bitter chocolate and spiced gingerbread on the finish.

Just 1,000 bottles will be available, so contact Kahlil Spurlock at kahlil@the5thcolumnpr.com to secure one as soon as possible. And then make sure to invite us to enjoy a dram with you…

A fantastic and timely example is National Rum Day, which takes place next week, August 16. To attract rum fans to your bar for this spirited holiday, you’re going to want to have some high quality, intriguing rum on your menu. The only Dominican rum produced directly from sugar can juice, Ron Barceló, has an expression that will certainly attract people through your doors. Ron Barceló Gran Añejo is an award-winning blend of rums that range in age up to 6 years. The rum is aged in American bourbon oak barrels, resulting in a rich, golden amber color that has notes of sweet spice, mocha, toffee and coffee beans.
