International Women’s Day is here! International Women’s Day is about rejecting bias and fostering gender equality: two issues that are vital for the future of the service industry.
There is so much incredible female talent in the world of F&B, it would literally be impossible to list out every incredible woman who pushes the industry forward. Women are leaders in our industry – just look at the semi-finalists for the Industry Excellence Awards, presented by Bar & Restaurant Expo – and we cover their stories throughout the year.
But to mark the occasion today, we’re taking a moment to shout out the brilliant women who help make Bar & Restaurant Expo, our annual conference and expo, one of the leading F&B events in the country. Whether they’re on our Executive Council, Food & Beverage Innovation (FBIC) culinary team or in our conference program, each of these women have devoted themselves to the service industry, and we could not be more grateful for their expertise.
